Don’t wait until Friday!
El Graner and the Temporada Alta Festival have struck up a partnership, which takes effect from this year’s Festival and will continue over coming years. El Graner (centre for research, creation and body language and movement) as part of the Creation Factories programme, is under management by the Mercat de les Flors, in association with APDC and ACPDC. The cornerstones of their work are proximity, creation and thought, while focus is given to the free flow of thought, both locally and internationally.
The launch of this partnership with Temporada Alta will be unveiled with #FF80 that takes its name from Follow Friday – which publishes recommendations on the social network Twitter on Fridays.
Users recommend things worth following to other users and, really, this is what we want to do with the creators of #FF80 – recommend them.
These are Catalan artists of the same generation (1980s), who have studied and worked abroad, and who move between the Catalan scene and the scene elsewhere, often due to the fragility of the local scene. All of them work with artistic codes to promote hybrid theatre and a mixture of languages. But we’re not waiting until Friday; we’re going to recommend them right now, our very own #FF80.
