Per fi me’n vaig

If 150,000 spectators came to see my first show, Per fi sol!, and they all laughed between four and five times a minute, with Per fi me’n vaig! I have set myself the challenge of surpassing that. How? By telling everyday stories, peculiarities of my daily life and impressions of little things that I have turned into hilarious and tender tales, as well as everything that, supposedly, I should start doing once I leave the stage for good and perhaps will not do. The aim is clear: to get the audience laughing twice as much as in the previous show.

And why Per fi me’n vaig!? Well, because, on my own prescription, I have decided that perhaps it would not be such a bad idea to swap the stage for a hammock by the sea, while waiting for a popular outcry demanding my immediate return. But, just in case that does not happen, I would not miss this new show, whose main aim remains the same as it was forty-five years ago: to make everyone who comes to see it laugh, and to leave the theatre wanting to have a good time all over again.
