La Factoria d’Arts Escèniques – Banyoles

La Factoria d’Arts Escèniques is a cultural venue located in Banyoles, dedicated to training, creating and the exhibition of live performances. Inaugurated on 20 April 2011, it was established to strengthen the city’s theatre scene and provide a working space for companies, artists and students. Its programme focuses particularly on contemporary performing arts, small-scale shows and projects that experiment with new theatrical languages. The venue hosts activities run by the Aula de Teatre, as well as rehearsals, workshops, productions and performing arts research projects. It also offers artistic residencies to local companies and groups from outside the region, providing workspaces, technical support and the opportunity to present their projects to the public. Since 2014, the Formats Factoria label has identified the most innovative proposals and unconventional formats in its programme. Through this combination of training, production and performance, La Factoria has become a prominent venue within Banyoles’ cultural scene.
