Pau Roca performs a monologue by Duncan Macmillan about depression and the things that make life worth living

When he is six years old, the protagonist discovers that his mother is in hospital and that she finds it hard to be happy. To help her, he starts a list of exceptional things that make life worth living: ice cream, kung fu films, laughing until milk comes out of your nose. With Pau Roca alone on stage and the audience’s complicity, Duncan Macmillan’s text turns depression into a tender comedy about love, care and the things we do for those we love.
