Years ago, Ana’s mother disappeared in the last great flood in a town in the east of the Iberian Peninsula. In the village there is a belief that water is always mixed with death. And the truth is that, since then, Ana has lived in the shadow of her mother, turned into a phantasmagoric legend. Now, a strong storm threatens the town of Ana again and, in this electric atmosphere prior to the storm, she meets Josep, her first love, at the age of 17. With her debut, Elena López Riera was selected for the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival 2022
