Acorats, crònica d’un fenomen

A documentary by Joan Martí Mir that analyses one of the theatrical phenomena of recent years in the Balearic Islands and Catalonia. Since its premiere in 2011 at the Auditòrium Sa Màniga in Cala Millor, Acorar has remained on stage across the Catalan-speaking territories. Today, four years later, the phenomenon is not over. Through testimonies from audiences, Toni Gomila’s family circle and around thirty interviewees, including Oriol Broggi, Joan Lluís Bozzo, Hermann Bonnin, Rafel Duran, Javier Matesanz, Joan Pons and Màrius Serra, among others, the documentary invites the viewer on a journey through the origins, motivations, influences and keys to the success of a text destined to become a classic.
