Rebota, rebota y en tu cara explota (roughly, ‘I’m rubber, you’re glue…’ or ‘Sticks and stones…’), winner of the 2017 Catalan Critics’ Award for New Trends is a necessary play. Agnés Mateus uses irony, poetry and blunt honesty to construct a powerful condemnation of the violence suffered by women.
