An eighties punk band refuses to disappear and its story descends into a wild tragicomedy

An old house in the Sierra Norte de Madrid is home to the remnants of Verborrea, an eighties punk band that lived fast and ended badly. The survivors —amid drugs, ruin, squatting and old wounds— inhabit a space outside time. Meanwhile, the singer’s family wants to evict him and turn the house into a tourist business. Pablo Remón constructs a wild tragicomedy about the excluded that portrays a past refusing to die.
