Maria Jover and Gerard Franch imagine other possible futures
In a disturbing yet all-too-near future, bureaucracy operates without critical human oversight, turning efficiency into a pretext for new forms of power. Taking Hannah Arendt as a point of reference, Un mal normal asks what happens when the imagination is held hostage by the dystopian narratives of the present. A piece about artificial intelligence, post-fascism and collective responsibility, defending theatre as a space in which to rehearse other possible futures.
