Cristiana Morganti and Claudio Tolcachir construct a stage fable about memory, loss and wounded bonds

Cristiana Morganti, a dancer and actress associated for more than twenty years with Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal, joins forces with Argentinian director Claudio Tolcachir (L’omissió de la família Coleman, TA18 and TA07) in a piece that blends autobiography, fairytale and Shakespearean echoes. In The Forest, two performers inhabit an emotional forest of memories, betrayals and family relationships eroded by time. Between dance and theatre, the show transforms pain, deceptive memory and loss into a moving stage recital.
