A disenchanted, rebellious and profoundly contemporary Verdaguer reappears in a piece that sidesteps cliché

A reading of Jacint Verdaguer from the perspective of our own time, far removed from any museum-like reverence. Ferran Dordal and Albert Prat collaborate once again to create this piece, which revisits above all the later Verdaguer: the disenchanted, wounded and rebellious poet who turns the self into a form of denunciation. Halfway between theatre and music, the show proposes a Verdaguer removed from folkloric imagery and open to a living, personal and contemporary reading.
