The choir made up of some of the best voices in the churches of South Africa
The new show by the three-time Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir commemorates the freedom movement in South Africa and the civil rights movement in the United States. HOPE is a programme of South African freedom songs that inspired the dream of the rainbow nation. The choir then moves to the United States with performances by artists such as Billie Holiday, James Brown, Otis Redding, Curtis Mayfield and Aretha Franklin. A musical journey through an idea of hope.
