Its title describes it perfectly. El·lipsi is everything that has been pushed into the background during the pandemic. Everything that, while forming part of a global crisis that made the front page every day, has been partly overlooked by the media. Through testimonies from healthcare staff on the front line during the initial wave of the pandemic, as well as from hospitalised patients and relatives, Ferran Joanmiquel’s verbatim theatre piece takes shape as a mosaic of the opinions and attitudes that Covid-19 has generated in society and in the media that have reported on it. Sub-themes -such as the relationship between the pandemic and climate change, or its personal impact on each of us- have also been left in the media’s shadows, and in this work we will see them find their way out.

Experience first-hand the testimonies of healthcare staff and hospitalised patients, shedding light on the hidden side of the pandemic. The two performances of the production held as part of Temporada Alta include a post-show discussion organised by La Planeta.
