Pau has bought a flat in Barcelona’s Raval with Judit, his wife. He is happy with his life, but as they get rid of family objects, his grandfather’s Francoist past comes to light. Winner of the Premi BBVA, this monologue, written and performed by Pau Vinyals, explores family silences, the transition from public to private space, and the construction of a home. An autofiction that reflects on inherited legacy and the latent fascism that lives within us. An activity to discuss the production and meet its creator and protagonist.
