With each new project, Sergio Blanco further refines the process towards self-knowledge. Recently, this essentiality has been expressed through the form of the lecture. Now he returns alone in response to a commission from Lluís Homar and Xavier Albertí, artistic director and dramaturg of the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, to create a text in dialogue with Lope de Vega’s Castelvines y Monteses. A text about love that leaves aside no noble or ignoble aspect. Everything human or brutal that transforms us. A journey on which he will be accompanied by Superman, Lancelot, Cleopatra and Scarlett O’Hara, but above all by the tortured iconography of Francis Bacon.
