Lolita Flores steps into the shoes of Bernarda Alba’s maid in an intense monologue that recreates Lorca’s universe

Following its success at recent editions of the festival, Poncia returns, the monologue written and directed by Luis Luque based on La casa de Bernarda Alba. Lolita Flores plays the maid who has seen everything inside that house locked up tight: the silences, the repression, the guilt and Adela’s death. In this role, the actress delves into Lorca’s universe and pays tribute to an unfulfilled wish of her mother, Lola Flores, who always wanted to play this character.
