Pablo Messiez directs Irene Escolar in the portrait of an actress who breaks down on stage and begins a difficult process of recovery
Emma is an actress who breaks down on stage while playing Nina in La gavina. From this collapse, Personas, lugares y cosas follows her time in a rehab clinic, through resistance and relapse, towards a possible recovery. Duncan Macmillan —author of Les coses excepcionals (TA26, TA18)— constructs a portrait of addiction and trauma that Pablo Messiez brings to the stage with Irene Escolar in the lead, between individual fragility and the need to listen to others.
