Lectura de clàssics: El mot mentida, innoble i punyent

A new reading of classics co-produced by Festival Clàssics and Temporada Alta, dedicated to Drames rurals by Caterina Albert (Víctor Català), one of the great voices of Catalan literature. Àngels Gonyalons gives body and voice to these intense texts, which explore the harshness of the rural world, violence, desire, loneliness and the limits imposed on women. Sergi Belbel’s direction accompanies a dramatised reading that highlights the author’s scenic and contemporary power. Gonyalons and Belbel, who have already shared artistic affinities in previous projects, now come together again to champion an essential literary perspective.
