Anaïs Nin’s Diaries are among the most lucid and radical explorations of the female experience in the 20th century. A diary written over an entire lifetime by one of the most unique voices of the century. A journey into the depths of desire, the power of confessions that still astonish us today. Her writing, intimate and overflowing, becomes a mirror of passion, freedom, and the contradictions that dwell within us.

Writer, artist, and pioneer of erotic literature, Nin turned her life into a work of art through intimate, poetic, and visceral writing. This staged reading, performed by Elisabet Casanovas, gives voice to a selection of texts that reveal the contradictions, desires, and freedom of a woman who defied all the conventions of her time. A proposal presented by Temporada Alta in collaboration with Festival Clàssics, inviting us to listen to the strength of an essential female voice that still resonates today with surprising and revealing intensity.
