Pablo Messiez brings Francis Bacon and Agustín Gómez Arcos into dialogue in a theatrical exploration of bodies, intensity and gaze

Director and playwright Pablo Messiez premieres La forma humana, a show that takes as its starting point the interviews between painter Francis Bacon and David Sylvester, and the novel El cordero carnívoro by Agustín Gómez Arcos. Messiez does not adapt these materials, but rather uses them as the starting point for an exploration of the body, image and stage presence. A piece about what an image can provoke in those who look at it.
