Castellucci returns Faust to the enigma before the pact with the devil

An essential creator on today’s scene and a regular at Temporada Alta, Romeo Castellucci presents his version of the Faust myth and returns it to the enigma from which it comes. Before encountering Mephistopheles, Faust has already come up against a radical form of evil: emptiness, the collapse of meaning and the crisis of language. A piece about the darkness of the present, the impossibility of communication and the long shadow of a character who runs through Western culture.
