A new scenic poem by Xavier Bobés Solà

This show speaks of a very long path: a walk in search of rest. The show starts from the idea that “death puts things in their place” and is constructed as a stage poem about disappearance, transformation, dreams, thoughts, words and accompaniment. Without proposing a conventional narrative, the piece opens up an intimate and symbolic space where what disappears continues to resonate. “Again, child. Again, son” points to a return, to a first and vulnerable identity.

Xavier Bobés Solà, a theatre-maker born in Barcelona in 1977, is a leading figure in the poetics of objects. Self-taught, he has spent twenty-five years exploring the symbolic and theatrical content of everyday objects.
