Marta Barceló, awarded at the Dramaturgy Tournament for Tocar mare, explores family aging and the ability to let go with humour and tenderness
After more than twenty years apart, three siblings reunite at the family home to accompany their mother in her final days. Els darrers sis dies is an emotional and uplifting comedy about caregiving, aging, family responsibilities, and the need to learn to let go. The Mallorcan author Marta Barceló, winner of the Torneig de Dramatúrgia with Tocar mare (TA22), once again focuses on the emotions that make us human, with a perspective full of tenderness and humor.
