A successful journalist, a discreet nurse, and a disoriented young woman have nothing in common… until all three discover a lump in their breast. Starting from this premise, Cristina Clemente (Una teràpia integral, TA22) crafts a comedy that avoids easy drama and finds in humour and sisterhood the most honest way to approach the subject of illness. Directed by Sergi Belbel and featuring a stellar trio of actresses —Àngels Gonyalons, Sara Espígul, and Sara Diego—, the play speaks of bodies, fears, and a desire to live, with the delicacy and strength of those who know how to laugh in the face of adversity.
