Lluïsa Cunillé and Albert Arribas revisit Hamlet from a family room inhabited by silences, grudges and ghosts

After El gos (TA24), the ever-surprising director Albert Arribas returns to the enigmatic universe of Lluïsa Cunillé with a free, contemporary version of Hamlet, a tour de force for Pere Arquillué and Imma Colomer. In a precarious flat in Copenhagen, an elderly mother and her adult son live together, suffocated by bitterness and lost illusions. One winter afternoon, ghosts from the past and old tragedies burst into their shared life. A piece about the passage of time, dependency and the shadowy areas that accumulate within the intimacy of a family.
