Cowards

Choreographer Àngel Duran proposes an energetic duet about the construction of contemporary masculinity and the demands that push men to constantly reaffirm their virility. Between dance and physical theatre, Cowards exposes two bodies trapped in a relationship of confrontation and dependence, marked by the denial of everything perceived as fragile or different. A piece about the cowardice of accepting one’s own vulnerability and about violence as a refuge for traditional masculine codes.
