An intimate and testimonial journey in which Conchi León evokes her father and family wounds with courage and tenderness.
Conchi León dives into family memory in this brave and emotional solo performance, which begins with a phone call: her father is dying. From there, a biographical narrative unfolds, where childhood, domestic violence, alcoholism, salvation, and love coexist. Toys, cassette tapes, and music by Pedro Infante fill the stage to evoke a past that shapes the present. Cachorro de León is an act of freedom in which testimony becomes both a poetic and political gesture.
