The project ECT-SCT Escena Catalana Transfronterera continues to carve out its own identity. Temporada Alta recommends a number of productions from the programme of Perpignan’s Théâtre de l’Archipel (in Le Grenat and Le carré), scheduled within the framework of Temporada Alta:

 

HENRY VI – 2nd CYCLE

William Shakespeare /Thomas Jolly

La Piccola Familia take on Shakespeare once again. Following on from the first two episodes which premiered in 2013, the saga continues to delight audiences with a unique, strange and extravagant experience. Serious Shakespeare!

WHAT THE BODY DOES NOT REMEMBER

Última vez / Wim Vandekeybus

In 1988, the Belgian choreographer Wim Vandekeybus won the prestigious Bessie Award in New York with his debut feature, ‘What the Body Does Not Remember’. A raw and brutal piece, an explosion of energy and invention, well worth rediscovering.

Sylvain Creuzevault / Karl Marx

Critical and reflective theatre which is also highly impactful. The French director Sylvain Creuzevault brings the structures of the modern capitalist world to the stage, in line with Marx’s ‘Das Kapital’.
