L’artèria invisible

The director from Girona, Pere Vilà, previews his latest work at the Festival after his success with La fossa and La lapidation de Saint Étienne

The main character is Vicenç, a politician who has set his sights on becoming mayor, when suddenly, he is falsely accused of sexual abuse. His wife, bored with the life they lead, is obsessed with having a child. In this context, the emergence of a young man who had been on the verge of forming part of their lives, fifteen years earlier, triggers a process that will destroy Vicenç both professionally and personally. Once again, this piece features the intense silence and the dramatic strength of the director of La fossa (Temporada Alta 2014).
