A compilation of French songs from famous singers: from Piaf, Brel and Aznavour through to songs from Quebec and Vilallonga’s own
Toupin and De Vilallonga exude musical creativity. Their expressive décalage of French chanson whisks us playfully to the Olympus of Paris in the sixties and seventies, to Piaf, Brel and Aznavour, even to Quebecois songs or those of De Villalonga himself
