Awards Ceremony for the 9th Quim Masó Prize

Mercè Martínez will perform with pieces from her show ‘Cantar al desamor’

The writer Josep Maria Fonalleras will present a free show, open to all, at the Sala La Planeta to announce the winner of the 9^th Edition of the Quim Masó Prize for theatrical production projects. The actress and singer Mercè Martínez will perform at the event, accompanied by the pianist Andreu Gallén, with pieces from her show Cantar al desamor (boleros, jazz standards, songs from musicals, themes by Kurt Weill).

This year, 25 new theatrical productions have entered the competition. The winner will receive nearly 50,000 euros towards the production of the show, which will premiere at the Grec 2016 festival and will be able to be seen at the next edition of Temporada Alta.
