L’incendi, the short promotional video screened at Temporada Alta 2017, has won the Grand Laus, the most prestigious of the Laus Awards for Graphic Design and Audiovisual Communication, presented yesterday evening at the Disseny Hub in Barcelona.
The Temporada Alta promotional film is an initiative promoted by the Nanouk Films producer and the festival itself, which came into being more than a decade ago with the purpose of seeking new formulas for communication and the presentation of the Festival, introducing the programming and spirit of Temporada Alta to its audiences.
The short film from last year, written and directed by Salvador Sunyer Vidal, is a hymn to freedom and endorses the theatre as a place free from chit-chat.
It is not the first time that the Laus Awards have acknowledged the quality of the Festival’s short films. The Pleasure Island also won the Grand Laus in 2016 and Tragèdia, el cant de la cabra won the Golden Laus in 2015.
