At Temporada Alta we prepare the next editions long in advance, seeking support from European programs and participating in international projects that allow us to forge new alliances. Work is currently underway on three parallel proposals such as Performing Landscapes, a project that aims to bring performing arts proposals by renowned artists, such as Stefan Kaegi/Rimini Protokoll or El Conde de Torrefiel, to a natural environment where the landscape is the protagonist. The project will arrive at the festival in its 2024 edition. Performing Landscapes is supported by the Creative Europe program of the European Commission, with such prestigious partners as the Festival d’Avignon, the Piccolo Teatro de Milano or the Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne and is led by Rimini Protokoll with design and art direction by Stefan Kaegi and Caroline Barnaud.
We are also working on other projects resulting from our policy of collaboration with international institutions such as a proposal within the Interreg cross-border program, led by the Théâtre de Sète (France), and others within the Creative Europe program. One of the projects, led by the Fondazione Nazionale de la Danza / Aterballeto of Reggio Emilia (Italy), aims to create a dance initiative accessible to all neighborhoods of Girona.
