Una aniquilació fallida. La Libido, la història i jo

A lecture-style monologue by writer Carlota Gurt that explores, with rigor and irony, female libido through myths, theories, and personal experiences
A lecture-style monologue by writer Carlota Gurt that explores, with rigor and irony, female libido through myths, theories, and personal experiences
Writer Carlota Gurt delves into a subject often hidden: women’s sexual desire. Historically reduced to two extreme visions —the insatiable beast or the sexless prude—, discourse on female libido has been shaped by myths, moralism, and ignorance. A lecture-style monologue that alternates personal reflection, rigorous documentation, and sharp sarcasm. In it, Gurt intertwines Sappho and Rousseau, Muhammad and Marie Bonaparte, Freud and the Bible, in an insolent and clear-sighted exploration that dismantles imposed narratives and reclaims the complexity of female desire with intelligence and humor.
