A couple arrives in the middle of the night at a rural guesthouse to spend a romantic weekend. They’ve decided to become parents, and these days are ideal to start trying. They want to take advantage of the bucolic setting to conceive the child. However, the hosts—local country folk—are not as welcoming as expected and will drag them into a spiral of unexpected and disturbing events, forcing them to rethink their longed-for parenthood and even the future of their relationship.
