The documentary theatre collective creates a piece around the figure of Joan Garcia Oliver
Mos Maiorum, the theater collective from Barcelona founded in 2015 and specialized in documentary and political theater, presents, on this occasion, an immersive historical fiction proposal based on the life of Joan Garcia Oliver, a key figure in the Catalan libertarian movement, evoking the strength, ideals, and contradictions of a generation that lived the utopia firsthand.
A reflection to connect past struggles with present concerns, offering a unique and transformative theatrical experience.
With three actors of different ages, the collective will recreate moments from Garcia Oliver’s biography, involving the audience in the dramatic action, using postdramatic languages, historical fiction, and immersive theater, making the audience a direct witness to emotionally understand a key moment in our recent history, which also mirrors our present.
