A young caregiver begins working at the home of Llorenç Cardona, a legendary actor who lives trapped between memories and the characters he once portrayed. To keep the job, he’ll have to play along with his theatrical world. Mort d’un comediant is the new play by Guillem Clua (L’oreneta, TA22), in which he explores with humour and sensitivity the connection between two worlds — the one saying goodbye and the one just beginning — while celebrating theatre as an emotional refuge. Jordi Bosch masterfully portrays the tragedy of a man clinging to the stage to avoid facing a painful reality.
