Maika Makovski

Many things have already been said about Maika Makovski, and many more will be said. A multidisciplinary artist if ever there was one, her musical talent, her multitude of influences and the urgency of her constant search for spirit make her a truly unique name on the current scene.

Since she began her career at the tender age of 20, she hasn’t stopped surprising with every album she releases, and she has already released 8 albums. The last one, ‘MKMK’, was released in 2021 and was a real success with the public and critics, being included in practically all the best of the year lists (winner of the MIN and + Música awards for ‘Best Rock Album’).

Following in the wake of that acclaimed work, the songwriter recently released ‘Bunch of little burdens’, a raw track in which she talks about the thousands of little burdens of being alive, and ‘Si tú me quieres’ (with the collaboration of Ovidi, Los Zigarros).

Powerful guitars, an energetic piano and Maika’s unmistakable voice are the stars of these new songs that form part of a double single, in 7-inch format.
