JOAN MIQUEL OLIVER I MERITXELL NEDDERMANN

A dialogue between guitar and keyboard where pop meets the freest improvisation
A dialogue between guitar and keyboard where pop meets the freest improvisation
Joan Miquel Oliver and Meritxell Neddermann star in a unique musical encounter at the La Mirona hall, in a concert co-organized by Temporada Alta and El Foment that merges their artistic universes.
The two artists present a joint recital with only five dates in Catalonia. The proposal combines pop with elements of improvisation and proposes a musical dialogue between guitar and keyboard. The repertoire includes shared songs and spaces for joint creation, in a meeting between the respective artistic universes.

From the duet of Joan Miquel Oliver and Meritxell Neddermann we can highlight the combination of Meritxell Neddermann’s talent as a pianist and Joan Miquel Oliver’s vocation as an instrumental composer. This mixture results in a pop music recital that lasts about 75 minutes, where we will find a repertoire with songs sung by both artists, but which also leaves the door open to improvisation to create a dialogue between keyboard and guitar that goes beyond the simple interpretation of their songs.
