Toni Servillo presents a reading of Dante's 'Divina Commedia'
Le voci di Dante is a stage immersion in the living legacy of Dante Alighieri’s Commedia, filtered through the contemporary sensibility of Toni Servillo and the vision of Giuseppe Montesano. The show proposes an inner journey that updates the voice of the Florentine poet, freeing it from the rigidity of the canon to project it onto the concerns of the present.
In this great mosaic of souls – Francesca, Ugolino, Ulysses, Dante himself – timeless emotions unfold: love, loss, desire, fear, longing for light. Each figure emerges as a mirror reflecting the human condition, here and now.
human condition, here and now. The Comedy thus becomes an infinite, living novel, an instrument for looking inside ourselves and understanding the world. More than a reading, Le voci di Dante is a vital journey: an encounter with words that, centuries later, still throb with fullness.
