Forsythe and Hauert present a double dance program that contrasts precision and intuition in a vibrant and richly contrasting choreographic dialogue
The Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company presents a double bill that puts two top-tier choreographic visions in dialogue. Renowned choreographer William Forsythe offers in Undertainment an exercise in precision and stage freedom, while Swiss choreographer Thomas Hauert transforms Playing with Sergei, Martha and the others — a Rachmaninoff concert — into a collective physical experience. Two pieces with contrasting languages, united by the pursuit of living movement and the strong complicity between choreographer and performers.
