Alain Platel brings to Barcelona the acclaimed dance concert that blends Baroque, classical music, and Congolese rhythms with power and elegance
Coup Fatal arrives in Barcelona, one of the most emblematic works by Belgian choreographer Alain Platel, now in a renewed version. In collaboration with countertenor Serge Kakudji and musicians from Kinshasa, Platel offers a dance concert that fuses Baroque arias by Bach, Händel, and Monteverdi with Congolese rhythms, rock, and improvisation.
A vital and unclassifiable proposal that draws from the culture of Congolese dandies and celebrates the joy of living through movement, song, and diversity.
