Marina Otero returns with 'El oficio de morir / Ayoub', a performative play on the creative process
El oficio de morir / Ayoub is a performative play by Marina Otero that expands on her project Recordar para vivir, following Fuck Me (TA22), Love Me (TA23), and Kill Me (TA24). Ten years after asking herself in Buenos Aires how to transform pain into a stage piece, Otero revisits that question from another continent. Here, the artist reimagines a theft and delivers a lecture on creation, love, and chaos. Like a contemporary Scheherazade, she will include a new fragment in each city and reveal her inner conflict between love and fiction.
