Aracaladanza take us on a journey through the visual universe of Joan Miró

There are few painters that create their own universe like Joan Miró; his shapes and the way he uses colour is a source of fascination for both young and old. Attracted by his unique visual universe, the dance company Aracaladanza, winner of several MAX awards, has put together an imaginative journey based on Miró’s paintings. In Constelaciones five dancers take us on a journey through the Mirò landscape using a play on colour, light and movement, promising audiences a sensorial cocktail. In 2010 Visto lo Visto came to the festival, directed by Enrique Cabrera, in a showcase of the Madrid-based company’s magic.  An international benchmark, this company is expert in making dance accessible to young children with its acclaimed productions for family audiences.
