ConArte International
ConArte Internacional is a non-profit association that was born from the collaboration between the UNESCO Chair of Cultural Policies and Cooperation of the University of Girona and Conarte Mexico.
ConArte devotes its task to promote dialogue between the educational world, artistic creation and cultural offer. That is, to promote education through arts and culture with projects such as “Planters”, to which a dozen schools and institutes in the province of Girona have joined to break the barriers between formal education and artistic creation. At Temporada Alta, we contribute our grain of sand though giving cheaper tickets and facilitating the interaction with the Festival: visits by artists to schools, talks, theatrical performances, entertainment assistance…
ConArte International also collaborates with the A Tempo, Arts i Formació project.
More youth and educational programs
We offer facilities so that young people can purchase tickets at reduced prices and access culture. Together with Escena 25 and Girona Cultura, we promote formulas to facilitate access to theatre. In addition, young people can also benefit from belonging to ERAM, El Galliner, or other dance and theater schools. We provide facilities for students from these centers to access shows with discounts and bonuses, but we also encourage exchanges between Temporada Alta and centers where performing arts education is taught. Some of the festival artists, for example, visit ERAM or El Galliner to give workshops and talks.
