The XI edition of Temporada Alta in Ibero-America begins, a new edition that continues the bet on presenting the Catalan scene to the other band of the Atlantic, acting as a platform for creative exchange and projection of artists and companies from here. The festival presents a program of more than 20 shows from up to 9 countries that will last until March 5. Specifically, the programme of Lima (Peru) will be from February 7 to March 5, in Buenos Aires (Argentina), the dates are from February 7 to 12 and, in the case of Montevideo (Uruguay), the shows will be out from February 1 to 26.
The festival, co-organized by the Ramon Llull Institute, maintains its role as exporter presenting five proposals this year, four of which can be seen in the three participating countries: Ma solitud by Guillem Albà, Loco amoris by Pablo Macho and Pau Roca, 360 grams by Ada Vilaró, and Cuerpos celestes, by the El Conde de Torrefiel and cabosanroque, a sound experience that is part of a series of audio guides that can be heard free of charge on the Caixaforum+ platform.
Finally, Temporada Alta Iberoamérica will also host the Transatlantic Playwriting Tournament in Buenos Aires, with the support of the SGAE Foundation, where authors from both sides of the Atlantic will compete. The Catalan representatives will be: Xavi Buxeda and Carla Rovira.
