Teatre La Biblioteca

La Biblioteca Theatre is a theatre venue located in the Raval district of Barcelona, within the grounds of the Biblioteca de Catalunya. The space occupies a former nave of the old Hospital de la Santa Creu and has been adapted to host stage performances with a flexible layout and a strong sense of closeness between audience and performers. With a variable capacity depending on the production, it presents shows focused on text-based theatre, with special attention to dramatic literature and refined visual language. The artistic project, linked to the theatre company La Perla 29, is committed to an immersive theatrical experience that respects the site’s historical heritage.
