A Tempo – Arts i Formació
2025-26 Edition
We present the programme of the 9th edition of A Tempo – Arts and Education, featuring artistic proposals for schools and high schools, with the aim of ensuring access, participation and enjoyment of the arts for children and young people. It includes a renewed programme of performances with free shows both inside and outside educational centres, a new edition of the Playwriting Tournament for high schools, digital projects with festival artists, and the creation of a new production that will premiere at Temporada Alta. Together with the La Ciutat Invisible Foundation, we offer free artistic activities during school hours aimed at educational centres in Girona and Salt, from early childhood, special and primary education to secondary, baccalaureate and vocational training:
- Temporada Alta in the Classroom. We offer an exclusive programme of theatre, dance and circus performances to bring the arts closer to children and young people, transmit values and foster debate in the classroom.
- Playwriting Tournament for High Schools. We introduce 4th-year secondary and baccalaureate students to the process of creating theatrical texts, from writing to staging, with the guidance of professionals.
- Artists in the Classroom. We develop workshop proposals for children and young people with Temporada Alta artists, accessible through the A Distància platform.
- Create Your Project. We provide artistic and pedagogical support to school and high school projects by offering the necessary professional resources.
- Tandem Schools. We promote the project of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, which aims to give a distinctive identity to an educational centre through a process of educational innovation.

Previous editions
During the 8th edition of A Tempo, we offered 11 performances in educational centres as part of the Temporada Alta in the Classroom activity and launched the 6th edition of the Playwriting Tournament for high schools. At INS Vallvera, we created the podcast Amb veu pròpia Vallvera with Martina Cabanas, Sergi Vallès and the students of the Basic Vocational Training Cycle. On the A Distància platform, we included 7 new videos with diverse artistic proposals. Among the educational initiatives, the seminar Artes para la construcción de comunidades in Seville sold out, and the Tandem Schools programme continued at Escola Santa Eugènia. In total, 4,822 students and 423 teachers from 55 centres in Girona and Salt benefited, with the involvement of 75 artists.
