A Tempo – Arts i Formació

2024-25 Edition

The 8th edition of A Tempo – Arts i Formació is here, with the aim of continuing to promote the presence and use of the performing arts in the educational field. On this occasion, it includes more than 20 artistic proposals that include shows inside and outside the classrooms, didactic material, creation of new digital content and artistic creation projects, among which the sixth edition of the Dramaturgy Tournament for high schools stands out and a new edition of the training action Create your project.

The project includes two types of activities:

1. Activities

We offer free artistic activities during school hours that are scheduled inside and outside the educational centers, aimed at both primary and secondary students:

Temporada Alta in the classroom. We transmit values and generate debate and reflection in classrooms based on theater and dance shows with pedagogical content.
Dramaturgy Tournament for Institutes. We introduce 4th year ESO and high school students to the process of creating theatrical texts, from writing to staging, with the support of professionals.
Artists in the Classroom. We develop digital educational material created by artists linked to A Tempo and Temporada Alta, accessible through the A Distancia platform.
Create your project. We provide artistic and pedagogical support to school and institute projects by providing the necessary professional resources.
Awareness program. We provide educational centers with a multidisciplinary work program to reflect with young people on food and body care.
Poetize yourself! We host the project of the Jesús Serra Foundation, of the Grupo Catalana Occidente, which consists of poetry workshops for primary and secondary school students.

Registrations open from September 1.

2. Education

We also develop training activities with the aim of creating spaces for meeting, reflection and exchange of knowledge, where professionals from the arts, culture and education work together:

Seminar A Tempo. We provide training based on the arts, which includes comprehensive pedagogical support and the accreditation of various teaching profiles.
Education in arts and education. Training masterclasses in artistic pedagogy in digital format, where artists, collectives and associations share ideas, strategies, tools and artistic resources to transfer to the educational field. They are accessible through the A Distancia platform.
Tandem schools. We promote the project of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, which aims to make an educational center unique through a process of educational innovation.

Previous editions

During the seventh edition of A Tempo in the 2023-24 academic year, we made up to 36 artistic proposals available to schools. On the one hand, we launched the A Distancia platform with more than 20 free teaching resources and digital artistic training tools aimed at schools. On the other hand, we programmed more than 100 free performances of a total of 12 shows for all ages in the classrooms and the Teatre de Salt. At the same time, the Dramaturgy Tournament for high schools turned five years old and, finally, we started a new Tandem Schools program of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera at Escola Santa Eugènia in Girona. In total, the educational proposals of the project reached a total of 4397 students and 407 teachers.
