International programmers conference

From 21th to 23rd November

Temporada Alta organizes a number of activities for national and international programmers to coincide with the Contemporary Creation Week (from 20th to 23rd November). The objective is to promote the exchange of projects and facilitate the production and circulation of performances.

The main event of the conference is the meeting held on 21st November. A number of directors of Catalan and European theatre festivals present some of the projects that they are supporting (in the design or pre-production phase) that may be of interest to some of the other professionals present. In this way, the aim is to enhance the projects’ opportunities in terms of international projection and collaboration. The conference includes workshops and exclusive events.

Last year’s edition of the conference brought together 71 professionals from eleven different countries and included the presentation of projects from some of the most well-known and highly-respected institutions on the European theatre scene: Kunsten Festival des Arts in Brussels, Festival Hybrides in Montpellier, Théâtre Odeon in Paris, the Grec Festival in Barcelona, Temporada Alta – Catalonia’s Autumn Festival, and the Mercat de les Flors.
