Temporada Alta 2025: Consolidated quality<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We move forward into our third decade of existence with an edition that presents a program of consolidated quality, demonstrating the excellent form of this already veteran reference festival<\/strong>. This year, we present a total of 92 shows<\/strong>, of which 16 are world premieres, 16 international productions from 13 countries, more than 140 opening performances, and 62,326 tickets on sale. In this edition, the festival will run from September 18 to December 12, hosting artists such as Ang\u00e9lica Liddell, Thomas Ostermeier, Miet Warlop, Malpelo, Christopher Marthaler, La Veronal, Patti Smith, Josep Maria Mir\u00f3, Romina Paula, Llu\u00eds Homar, Mos Maiorum, Josep Maria Pou, Agrupaci\u00f3n Se\u00f1or Serrano, Nora Navas, La Moukhles & Sent\u00eds, B\u00e0rbara Mestanza, Marina Otero, Lorena Nogal, or Roser L\u00f3pez Espinosa, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Torneig de Dramat\u00fargia<\/strong> reaches its fifteenth edition, while we also bring back Llibr\u00e0legs<\/strong>, a series of readings in the Libraries, featuring texts by Cristina Clemente, Carla Torres, Lara D\u00edez, and Cl\u00e0udia Ced\u00f3.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The festival\u2019s recurring venues this year are: Banyoles, Figueres, Torroella de Montgr\u00ed, Sant Gregori, Bescan\u00f3, and Palafrugell. The festival strongly supports young talent (creators under 35) with shows such as Tobetta<\/em> (Francesc Cu\u00e9llar), Burpees<\/em> (Miquel Mas Fiol), Cavallet de mar<\/em> (Pau Coya), Nua<\/em> (Ann Perell\u00f3), Man, mano, il tempo scorre<\/em> (Elaine Grayling), Nauta<\/em> (Cor de Teatre), Tallar-me el peu amb una motoserra<\/em> (B\u00e0rbara Mestanza), and ABECEDARI<\/em> (La Moukhles & Sent\u00eds). Finally, the festival\u2019s two audiovisual projects, La Caverna<\/strong><\/em> and the podcast Aix\u00f2 no \u00e9s un c\u00e0sting<\/strong><\/em>, will have a third season with new guests, new interviews, and new reflections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 poster, by cabosanroque<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Following the tradition of collaborating with renowned artists to design the festival\u2019s poster, this year at Temporada Alta we are working with cabosanroque<\/strong>, a multidisciplinary collective that returns to collaborate with the festival with a proposal inspired by Sous les Violons, La Plage!<\/em>, their own installation presented during the 2023 edition of Temporada Alta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this proposal, Haydn\u2019s Quartet No. 66<\/em> was transformed into a participatory experience where the audience could destroy a series of violins by throwing stones at them in order to generate a new sonic piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this creative destruction \u2014 a collective catharsis \u2014 the 2025 poster was born as a visual metaphor, created from the pieces of those violins broken by the festival’s spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are cabosanroque?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

cabosanroque, formed by Laia Torrents<\/strong> and Roger Aixut<\/strong>, have participated in Temporada Alta on several occasions with projects such as El castor que plorava <\/em>(TA24), Sous les Violons, La Plage!<\/em> (TA23), Flors i viatges<\/em> (TA22), Audioguia per a supermercats en temps de pand\u00e8mia<\/em> (TA20), Dimonis <\/em>(TA19), or No em va fer Joan Brossa<\/em> (TA16), consolidating a trajectory where the boundaries between performing arts, music, and installation dissolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 poster is a declaration of intent inherent to their work: art as experimentation and sensory provocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In doing so, cabosanroque joins a long list of distinguished individuals who have collaborated with the festival in creating the poster, such as Isabel Banal, Antoni T\u00e0pies, Cristina de Middel, Carles Santos, Carmen Calvo, Joan Fontcuberta, Eul\u00e0lia Valldosera, Narc\u00eds Comadira, Eug\u00e8nia Balcells, Frederic Amat, Carme Sanglas, Enric Pladevall, or Ferran Adri\u00e0, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Caverna<\/em>: tercera temporada<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Per tercer any consecutiu, tindrem una nova s\u00e8rie d\u2019episodis de La Caverna<\/em>, el projecte audiovisual del festival amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de la Fundaci\u00f3 La Caixa, on grans directors i creadors de l\u2019escena europea que han passat pel festival conversen amb personalitats del m\u00f3n de la cultura triats per ells mateixos. Aquesta tercera temporada, comptar\u00e0 amb nous artistes convidats que confirmarem ben aviat. Novament, es pot veure de manera gratu\u00efta a la plataforma CaixaForum+ i als canals propis del festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
